American Idol hopeful Siobhan Magnus: High-school drama star

Siobhan Magnus is currently wowing the judges on American Idol and here she is as a star of her high-school drama group.Magnus, 20, landed a string of lead roles in plays put on by the Barnstable High School drama club in Massachusetts, including The Wizard Of Oz, Alice In Wonderland, Pirates Of Penzance, The Music Man, and Beauty And The Beast, before she graduated in 2008.Drama club director John Sullivan said: "She's a born performer."She was always prepared, knew her lines and did a tremendous job in every production she was in."And she always had that incredible, huge voice."He added: "She could be a bit reserved, but when she was onstage, a light would turn on and she'd transform into someone who could dominate the audience's attention."She made it look easy - and she made it very easy on me."

Usher and Rihanna 'not dating' says source

Sources close to Rihanna have rubbished reports that she went home from a music festival with Usher. The 23-year-old singer was rumoured to have hooked up with the RnB star after competing in a dance-off at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival over the weekend. A source told OK magazine, "Usher requested a table next to Rihanna. She arrived before Usher, with her bodyguards. Then a bit later Usher and his entourage arrived. "Usher and Rihanna were having a dance-off. The crowd was going crazy, circling around them, and cheering them on, with members of each celeb's crew jumping in to take a turn." And a second source added, "They're romantically interested in each other." But an insider told Gossip Cop that the story is 'not true', and that the musicians are just friends.
